Delivering mental health training for hospitality

My Mental Health Workshop

This is our foundation workshop that we recommend all staff members attend.

We focus on self: Exploring the basic signs and symptoms of stress & mental ill-health as well as the importance of self-awareness, self care and rest.

We help attendees empower themselves to help reduce the effects of stress and long hours and build resilience in both their work and personal lives.

Eat, Sleep, Move, Repeat

This course dives into the basics of why diet, exercise and sleep are the fundamental building blocks to our physical and mental well-being.

We explore the importance of diet, the function of nutrients and offer simple meal plans and hacks that can help us to sleep better, move better and how we can integrate these vital pillars into a working hospitality lifestyle.

Walk in to Well-being

Step outside and rediscover the power of nature to calm the mind, ease stress, and boost clarity and creativity. Designed for busy professionals, this experience offers a refreshing reset from the demands of work and personal life.

This immersive outdoor workshop blends mindful walking, grounding techniques, and nature-based mindfulness exercises to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and release tension.

Through gentle movement and walk-and-talk personal growth exploration, you’ll gain simple yet powerful tools to reduce anxiety, lower cortisol, and cultivate a deeper sense of balance.

3 hours - £1140 + VAT / 2 hours - £900 + VAT (up to 20 ppl)

Substance Misuse

The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness on the sensitive area of alcohol and other drug misuse which is prevalent in the industry.

We will look at the cycle of addiction, coping strategies, emotional regulation as well as explore alternative behaviours and positive thought patterns which could lead to resisting substances and lead to a healthier lifestyle.

3 hours - £1300 + VAT (up to 20 people)

Burnout Prevention

This workshop will educate staff members on the signs and symptoms of burnout and the patterns of behaviour that lead up to it and how we can prevent it or recover from this type of chronic stress.

Learn how to build resilient, motivated teams and hone critical skills to take your business from surviving to thriving. We want to work with you to really understand what your current pain points are and deliver bespoke training that fits the needs of your management team and business.

Courageous Spaces

This introductory workshop is a space for participants to have conversations about the impact of race and racism in the hospitality sector.

Courageous Spaces creates and deepens relationships by supporting people to safely explore and share their own personal experiences and perspectives of race and racism.

The session will open up the opportunity for participants to learn more about themselves, each other and they will come away feeling able to hold difficult conversations with empathy, responsibility and understanding.

Neurodiversity in the workplace

This training is aimed at HR personnel, recruitment teams, learning and development teams, managers, and all employees. Learn how to reduce stigma and foster empathy by educating your teams on neurodivergent conditions like ADHD, autism, and dyslexia and how to accommodate neurodivergence in the workplace practically to create a more inclusive, supportive, productive and motivating environment.

Grief & Loss

We experience grief in many forms, whether it’s the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, a jobs and even possessions. This workshop educates participants on the part grief can play in our lives, and how it can affect our sense of self, motivation and our physical and mental well-being.

Sexual Harrassement

Recognise and understand what is meant by the term sexual harassment and that it can happen to and be instigated by a person of any age, gender, sexuality or race.

This topic is explored respectfully and sensitively in a non-judgemental space where participants can learn and discuss how to safeguard and support themselves and others, as well as identify unlawful and unwanted behaviours.

Money Matters

Practical insights and strategies to empower your staff to effectively manage their finances, better understand the terminology and systems used by the financial markets and  make informed budgeting decisions, to help them build financial resilience for a more secure and stable future (whatever their income).

Gender Awareness

Increase your teams’ understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community and the importance of language. Learn about the differences between gender identity, gender expression, sexual and romantic orientation and biological sex and how ideas of gender are socially constructed.

Mental Health First aid course

Mental Health First Aid

Nominate members of your team to be MHFAiders. This will give them the tools to recognise those that may be experiencing poor mental health and provide them with first-level support. This course will improve their mental health literacy around language and stigma and enables the learner to gain confidence in supporting others with a Mental Health First Aid action plan.

We partner with Kelly’s Cause to deliver this, our official MHFA partner.

1-2-1 Mental Wellbeing Support

This service is for businesses who wish to offer private psychological and emotional support to their employees.

We have a team of fully trained therapists, counsellors and coaches who are DBS checked, adhere to an ethical framework and are fully insured to offer your staff the best care and support.

50 minute session either on-line or face-to-face (this service is confidential).
